FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21 Alive) - The Komets Tuesday added goaltender Max Strang to their roster.

Strang, 24, participated in the Fort Wayne training camp prior to the start of the season before joining Bloomington of the SPHL

He was called up by the Komets in October and served as backup goaltender two games before returning to Bloomington.

The rookie goaltender received the call from the Komets again in January and posted a 0-1-1 record (3.73 gaa, .839 spct.) in three Fort Wayne appearances before returning to Bloomington.

Strang was also called up to South Carolina during the months of February and March where he registered a 3-1-2 record (2.83 gaa, .895 spct.) in seven games.

It will be determined at practice Wednesday which goalies the Komets take on their two game road trip to South Carolina, Strang, Matt Grogan, or Ben Meisner.
