Great Lakes Ends TinCaps Winning Streak

Midland, MI – In the finale of a season-opening four-game series with the Great Lakes Loons, the Fort Wayne TinCaps fell by a final score of 8-3 on Sunday evening. Starter Zach Eflin, making his Midwest League debut, allowed four runs in three innings, which proved to be a deficit too large for Fort Wayne to overcome.

The TinCaps stay on the road and will begin a three - game series against the West Michigan Whitecaps Monday afternoon at 12:00 p.m.. The scheduled starters are Erik Cabrera for Fort Wayne and Edgar De La Rosa for West Michigan.
