Former Mad Ants Coach Gets New Job

ST. JOHN, NEW BRUNSWICK (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Former Mad Ants coach Jaren Jackson is back in the coaching business as the new head coach of the Saint John Mill Rats of the Premier Basketball League, a team that relocated from Manchester, New Hampshire in the off-season.

Jackson won an NBA title as a member of the San Antonio Spurs in 1998-99 and played 470 games in the league over 12 seasons.

Jackson coached the Mad Ants for 1 1/2 seasons before being fired in 2009.

He also logged time playing for the old Fort Wayne Fury in the Continental Basketball Association.
