FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21 Alive) - The weekend midwest snowstorm prevented the new Fort Wayne Flite of the Central Basketball Association from beginning their first season Sunday when opponent River City could not travel from Peoria, Illinois.

The Flite, made up of local players searching for a chance at some level of professional basketball, instead played an exhibition against local players.

The seven team CBA, with teams in cities in Tennessee and Kentucky in addition to Indiana and Illinois, plays a ten game schedule, with Flite home games to be played at The Summit on Rudisill Boulevard in Fort Wayne.
