Colts Thumped In Preseason Opener

INDIANAPOLIS (21Alive) - Rookie E.J. Manuel threw for a touchdown as the Buffalo Bills trounced the Colts 44-20 Sunday in the preseason opener for both teams.

Jeff Tuel also threw for two scores for the Bills.

The Colts found the endzone on a Matt Hasselbeck to T.Y. Hilton 45 yard touchdown hookup, and a 72 fumble recovery return by Daxton Swanson.


Norwell alum Chandler Harnish played most of the game for the Colts, going 14 of 33 for 109 yards in the air with one interception and one sack.

Starter Andrew Luck sat down after playing just two series.
