PHILADELPHIA (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Former heavyweight boxing champion Joe Frazier died after losing his bout with liver cancer Monday at the age of 67.

Frazier won the title from Jimmy Ellis in 1970 and retained it for only four fights before losing it to George Foreman in 1973.

But Frazier is best remembered for his three epic fights with Muhammad Ali in the early 70's, of which Frazier won one.

Frazier also won an Olympic boxing gold medal in 1964.
