Fort Wayne (Indiana's NewsCenter)- The Komets announced Thursday that goaltender Nick Boucher has elected to have surgery on his hip that has a cam impingement.

Boucher, 31, has been a goaltender with the Komets the past five consecutive seasons backstopping Fort Wayne to four league championships.
