FORT LAUDERDALE, FLORIDA (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Drew Brees said Monday when he woked up he asked his wife, "Did yesterday really happen?"

It did indeed and the New Orleans Saints awoke Monday to the fact that they are Super Bowl champs for the first time ever after Sunday's 31-17 win over the Indianapolis Colts.

"I'm not sure if it's completely sunk in yet," Brees said at Monday's news conference.

Saints' head coach Sean Payton said he had the Vince Lombardi trophy in bed with him while he slept early Monday.

"You can't get enough of this," Payton said. "Rolled over it a couple times. I probably drooled on it. But man, there's nothing like it."

The Saints' victory parade will begin late Tuesday afternoon in front of the Superdome.
