Komets Cough Up Lead, Lose In Shootout

FORT WAYNE (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Patrick Levesque scored a pair of goals and Mike Zbriger had the lone goal of the shootout that lifted the Quad City Mallards past the Komets 3-2 in a shootout Friday night.

The K's struck twice early in the second period for goals by Tomas Justin Chwedoruk and Tomas Klempa 34 seconds, but never found the net again.

The K's are in Dayton Saturday night.
