Komets Squeeze By Bloomington In Home Opener.

FORT WAYNE (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Tomas Klempa and Kaleigh Schrock netted second period goals and the Komets rewarded 10,511 home opening night fans with a 2-1 win over the Bloomington Prairie Thunder Friday night.

Nick Boucher turned back 35 of 36 shots in goal.

Prior to the game, the 2009 Turner Cup championship banner was hoisted into the Memorial Coliseum rafters.
