Freedom Sign First Two Players For 2009

(Fort Wayne) - The Freedom have signed their first two players for the 2009 season.

Quarterback Randy Hutchinson and offensive lineman Remele Penick have signed contracts to play under head coach Matt Land as the Freedom head to their second season in the Continental Indoor Football League.

Penick returns for his fifth season in Fort Wayne.

Hutchinson, the leader of the 2008 CIFL runner-up Kalamazoo Xplosion, returnsd to Fort Wayne after last playing here in 2006. With the Xplosion, Hutchinson threw for 63 TD’s while only throwing eleven interceptions and rushed for another five scores.
