(Fort Wayne) — The Komets announced Wednesday that six players have been added to the preseason roster. Joining the Komets for training camp Oct. 6 will be goaltenders Sebastien Laplante and Tim Haun along with rookie forwards Rick Varone, Adam Shirley, Adam Sinewitz and Roy Stevens.

Sebastien, 27, is the key man of the six. He appeared in the CHL the last three seasons, splitting last year with Colorado and Wichita of the Central Hockey League. Sebastien totaled 45 CHL games last season and a 21-18-2 record with 2.77 goals-against average with Colorado.

The Komets also revealed that veteran defenseman Brent Henley will not be back this season, choosing to stay in the East to compete for a spot in the American Hockey League/
