INDIANAPOLIS (21Alive) - The Indianapolis Colts made a blockbuster trade Wednesday, adding running back Trent Richardson from the Cleveland Browns.
Richardson was traded for the draft rights of the Colts' first round pick in 2014.
Richardson was the Cleveland's third overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft--two behind quarterback Andrew Luck--and has started all 17 games since in a Browns uniform.
Richardson rushed for 1,055 yards and 11 touchdowns as a rookie. He added 418 reception yards and 1 reception touchdowns.

Richardson played college football at Alabama, leading the Crimson Tide to two BCS National Championships and was a finalist for the 2011 Heisman Trophy alongside Andrew Luck.
