Komets Trade Rizk To Alaska For Hughes (VIDEO)

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) - Fort Wayne Komets traded forward JM Rizk to the Alaska on Friday.

Rizk was dealt as part of the considerations in the K's acquisition of Aces center Bobby Hughes. The Hughes portion of the trade was announced Monday.


Rizk spent two seasons with the K's, scoring 19 goals and 34 points in 66 games. He was a member of the 2013 CHL Presidents' Cup Championship team.

Hughes enters his seventh season of professional hockey, and netted 15 goals and 39 points for Alaska last season.
