South's Fields Becomes Third SAC Football Coach To Step Down (VIDEO)

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21 Alive) - Eddie Fields confirmed on Saturday that he has stepped down as South Side head football coach after three seasons.

Field's was 10-21 in those seasons, including a 3-7 record in 2013, a season that saw him suspended for a game by the IHSAA following an on the field fight between his team and Indianapolis Tech in September.

The Tech coach was also suspended.

Fields says he is pondering a move out of the area with his family.
