South, Snider Reach SAC Girls Tournament Final

FORT WAYNE (www.incnow.tv) - South Side and Snider scored SAC girls tournament semifinal wins Thursday at Wayne to advance to Saturday's championship game.

Brittni Clopton's 17 points helped South Side hold off Bishop Luers 67-60 in the first semifinal.

Tashala Surtoris had 24 for Luers.

Deja Wimby had 24 points and Meredith Shipman 16 in Snider's 64-45 win over Concordia in the other semifinal.

Dejour Young and Courtney Smith each had 15 for the Cadets.

South and Snider will meet Saturday night at 6:15 at Wayne for the tournament title.
