South Side's Goodwell Tabbed As Indiana Girls All Star Assistant (With Video)

UNDATED (www.incnow.tv) - South Side girls basketball coach Juanita Goodwell has been named an assistant coach with the Indiana Girls All Star team that will face Kentucky in the annul two game series in June.

Goodwell learned of her selection last Tuesday, but chose to keep it quiet as she prepared her Archer team for its date at the girls state 4A final.

Goodwell led South to a 24-4 season, the SAC and SAC Tournament championships, and the school's firste ver girls regional and semi-state titles.

Her first duty will be to evaluate players for the All Star team at this weekend's Top 60 Workout in Indianapolis.

Northeast Indiana players invited to the Workout are Ariana Simmons of South Side, Bailey Farley of Canterbury, Meredith Shipman of Snider, Haley Richardson of West Noble, Lidsay Baker of Warsaw, and Kiley Knafel of Wawasee.
