New Haven, Homestead, Woodlan Boys, Canterbury Girls Hoops Winners; South Boys Fall

UNDATED (www.incnow.tv) - New Haven, Homestead, and Woodlan's boys, as well as Canterbury's girls posted high school basketball wins on Saturday, while South Side's boys lost.

Jabar Ray scored 22 points and V.J. Beachem 21 as New Haven ripped Leo 100-57.

A.J. Busche led the Lions with 17 points.

Homestead got 20 points from freshman Bigge Swanigan and 18 from Set Coate to pace their 68-46 romp over Dwenger, who was led by Kyle Hartman's 19 points.

32 points by Notre Dame recruit Austin Torres led visiting Penn to their 70-59 win at South Side.

The Archers got 14 from Devin Jones in a losing effort.

Mitch McGattigan's 16 points amd 14 more from Kadin Gerig led Woodlan's 59-52 win at Blackhawk Christian.

The Braves got a game high 24 from Riley Reimschisel.

In girls action, 1A top ranked Canterbury rolled over Bethany Christian 70-34, led by 23 points from Bailey Farley and 17 from Kindell Fincher.
