Homestead Denied First Ever Regional Title By Carmel

MARION (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Fourth ranked Carmel used a big fourth quarter run to pull away from ninth ranked Homestead and win the 4A Marion Regional final Saturday night from the Spartans 48-39.

Zach Terrell led Homestead, which finished its best even season at 23-3, with 17 points.

Homestead had reached the final with their 69-62 afternoon semifiinal win over 11th ranked Northrop.
