Homestead, Concordia, Leo, North Side Enjoy Early Season Victories

UNDATED (www.incnow.tv) - Homestead, Concordia, Leo, and North Side all enjoyed boys basketball wins on Friday night.

Nick Gamble tallied 21 points and freshman Caleb "Biggie" Swanigan added 18 as Homestead held off Warsaw 75-62, after seeng a 19 point first half lead shrink to three in the second half.

Jared Bloom led the Tigers with 24 points, 19 of them in the first half.

D.J. McCall scored 29 points as Concordia prevailed in overtime at Carroll 67-61.

Chandler White's 17 points paced the Chargers.

David Hardin hit for 27 points and A.J. Busche added 16 in Leo's 81-75 triumph over Heritage, who were led by 17 points from Zach Toles.

North Side broke away in the second half at DeKalb to score a 74-61 win over the Barons, with Dwight Richards' 18 points and Trevion Crews' 17 points leading five Redskins in double figures.

Austin Macy led DeKalb with 18 and Adison Daub counted his one thousandth career point in his 15 point total.
