FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) - The Homestead boys basketball team has acquired another standout player in the offseason.

J.J. Foster Jr. has transferred from Bishop Luers High School to Homestead.

The sophomore guard averaged 12 points and 5 assists for the Knights last season. Luers is coached by his father, J.J. Foster Sr.

The elder Foster says his son was not comfortable in his situation at Luers, and decided to move to Homestead.
