FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21 Alive) - Northrop's girls and Dwenger's boys were the team champions Saturday at the rain delayed Summit Athletic Conference track meet at Spuller Stadium.
The Bruin girls finished with 152 points to 100 for runnerup Concordia and 97 for third place Wayne.
The Bruins got event wins from Victoria McCuiston in the 800 meters, from Mercedez Franco in the discus, and from Rebecca Clay in the pole vault, along with two relay teams.
Symone Black of Concordia won both the 100 dash and 300 hurdles, while JeBria Green of Wayne too the 100 hurdles and the high jump.
Dwenger scored its boys win with 156 points, with 112.5 for second place Northrop and 76.5 for third place North Side.
Saints to win events included Eric Cagnet in the discus, Jarod Schipper in the pole vault and long jump, and Greg Tippmann in the 800.
Shaton Harris of South Side won both the 100 and 200 dashes, and BiJay Stephens of Northrop captured both hurdles events.
