FORT WAYNE (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Another rain delay and a rare double eagle topped the story board at the Junior PGA Championship at Sycamore Hills Golf Club Wednesday.
After a rain delay of over an hour, play began and was highlughted by a double eagle on the par 5 507 yard 15th hole, where Anders Albertson of Woodstock, Georgia holed out his second shot from 211 yards away.
Albertson finished with an even par 72 and his one over par 145 put him in a tie for 19th, ten shots off the lead.
That lead is held by Oliver Schniederjans of Powder Springs, Georga, who shot 69 to sit at nine under par 135, three shots ahead of second place Danny McCarthy of Burtonsville, Maryland.
The boys cut for the low 35 and ties was 4 over 148.
E,J, Tackett of Huntington missed that cut at 13 over 157.
The girls leader is Kyle Roig of the Phillipines at 2 under 142 with a 72 Wednesday, giving her a two shot edge on second place Casey Isagawa of Wailuku Hawaii.
The girls cut was 11 over 155, and Kendallville's Katie Sharp missed it at 31 over 175.
