FORT WAYNE, Indiana (www.incnow.tv) - Concordia rising senior swingman D.J. McCall committed to IUPUI Sunday to play his college basketball starting in 2014.

McCall, the leading scorer and rebounder on the Cadets's 3A state finalists last March, averaged 18 points and six rebounds as a junior last season, and was named an Indiana Junior All Star.

He chose IUPUI because they had recruited him most of his junior season and been to most of his games.

The school's location and its move into the renovated Pepsi Coliseum for home games in two years also factored in the decision.

McCall chose IUPUI over Chicago Srare, Gardner-Webb, and Massachusetts.
