Columbia City, Eastside, Whitko Move On In Playoffs, Road Ends For Concordia

UNDATED (incnow.tv) - Columbia City surprised Leo, Eastside shelled Bluffton, Whitko sidelined Garrett, and Concordia went down to Jimtown in playoff openers Friday night.

Adam Neely came back seven weeks after breaking his leg to rush for 132 yards and a touchdown in Columbia City's 14-7 win over Leo, a win that sends the Eagles to the second round of the 4A playoffs at Dwenger next week.

Blake Blaker was a one man show with four touchdown runs and three scoring passes as Eastside trounced Bluffton 52-12, sending the Blazers to a 2A second round game at Bishop Luers.

Devin Gerding had 156 yards on the ground with a touchdown in Whitko's 21-16 2A win over Garrett.

2A top ranked Jimtown ended Concordia's season 42-20, and the Jimmies will host Whitko in the second round.
