FORT WAYNE (www.incnow.tv) - With every student in the Canterbury school system on hand, the 1A boys state soccer champs were honored with a rally in the high school gym Monday.

The Cavaliers became state champs for the fifth time overall and second year in a row by winning the 1A state final on Saturday 5-0 over Covanent Christian of Indianapolis.

Team leaders, the eight seniors included, presented the state championship trophy officially to the school.

Returning players say they look forward to chasing a record sixth title next year, this time in 2A.
