Burns-Cohrs Steps Down As Woodlan Girls Basketball Coach (VIDEO)

WOODBURN, Indiana (www.incnow.tv) - Tonya Burns-Cohrs has resigned as girls basketball coach at Woodlan after 13 seasons.

Athletic director Todd Thieme verified reports of the resignation, saying it was made after school was let out, and at the start of summer team activity, saying that Burns-Cohrs told him it was time..

Burns-Cohrs declined comment on the matter Sunday.

She was 113-163 in her time at Woodlan, and combined with her 13 seasons as North Side's coach has a career mark of 219-299.
