Bischoff Joins Indiana Baseball of Fame

JASPER, Ind. (21Alive) - Longtime New Haven High School coach Dave Bischoff was inducted into the Indiana Baseball Hall of Fame over the weekend.

Bischoff was enshrined during a ceremony Friday.

Bischoff has been head coach of the Bulldogs since 1985, winning 533 games. He's also added 10 sectional and 3 regional championships, and his teams have advanced to the final four 3 times.

He has also served as an All-Star coach in 2010.

Prior to coming to New Haven, Bischoff was an assistant coach at Norwell High School.

Bischoff is 1975 graduate of Bellmont High School and a 1980 graduate of IPFW.

Bischoff was joined by Henry Ayres, Gary DeHaven, Lou Giovanini and Rodney Scott as the Indiana Baseball Hall of Fame class of 2014.
