Big Second Half GIves Lake Central 4A Semi-State Over Homestead (VIDEO)

LAFAYETTE, Ind. (21 Alive) - A change in defense by Lake Central helped the Indians pull away from Homestead in the second half, and the Indians ran off with a 79-57 win Saturday in the 4A boys basketball semi-state at Lafayette.

Homestead erased most of a ten point deficit after one quarter to get within two at the half before Lake Central made the change the Spartans could not counter.

Caleb Swanigan again shined with 22 points and 13 rebounds to lead Homestead, who also got twelve from Joe Ault and eleven from Tahj Curry.

Joe Bannister led Lake Central, who will play in the 4A state final, with 21 points.
