Dwenger, Snider Open With Wins

FORT WAYNE (Indiana's NewsCenter) - State ranked Bishop Dwenger and Snider, the two favorites to win the SAC football title, each opened with impressive wins Friday night.

Wade Markley passed for 206 yards and three touchdowns, and Remound Wright ran for two scores and intercepted a pass as Dwenger took down South Side 42-19. Greg Johnson scored twice for the Archers.

Jason McGraw ran for 132 yards and a touchdown as Snider toppled Bishop Luers 27-13 in Kurt Tippmann's debut as Panthers' head coach.
