Rick Brown Hired As Luers AD

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) - Rick Brown has been hired as athletic director at Bishop Luers High School.

Brown comes to Luers from Huntington North High School, where he served as wrestling head coach. He also was an assistant football and track & field coach.

He also taught physical education at Huntington North.


A native of Clinton, Ind., Brown has a bachelor's degree in Health & Fitness from Purdue University, a master's degree in Secondary Education from Concordia University and a Master's degree in Athletic Administration from Western Kentucky University.

He also spent three years as a police officer in Illinois, according to a Huntington North biography.

Brown is married with two daughters and a son.
