FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) - Saturday will mark both familiar territory and uncharted waters for the Canterbury High School girls basketball team.

The No. 3 Lady Cavs (19-4) earned their seventh-straight semi-state appearance with wins last Saturday against Westview and Hammond Noll.

This is their first season in Class 2A, and their first season in the 2A Warsaw Semi-State.

Along the way, the Cavs have won 4 of their 5 postseason games by 25 points or more.

Canterbury admits the move to 2A has been difficult, but the balanced attack of post play and outside shooting has propelled the Cavs toward another state championship.

Canterbury faces No. 5 Tipton (18-4) at 4 p.m. Saturday. 21Alive will have highlights Saturday night.
