Luers' Lindsay Takes Medical Leave

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Bishop Luers head football coach Matt Lindsay has taken a medical leave of absence from the team.

Kyle Lindsay, Matt's son and Luers offensive coordinator, confirmed to Indiana's NewsCenter that Matt announced the leave Thursday.

It is unclear what the medical situation is, or how long Matt Lindsay will be out.

INC has learned that Matt Lindsay will not attend the game Friday at Wayne, and Kyle Lindsay will serve as interim head coach.

Matt Lindsay is in his 26th season at Luers, where he has led the Knights to nine 2A state championships.
