NEW HAVEN, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - The New Haven football team has brought a lot of excitement to the school over the past few years.

That excitement spilled over to the parking lot of John H. Young Stadium, as the INC Tailgate Party travels to New Haven High School Friday night.

Tommy Schoegler is greeted by dozens of students, the Mighty Marching Bulldogs band and even a deejay to pump-up the crowd.

Brenda Kitzmiller, Week 5's winner, says New Haven is a great place to watch a game, because the "unity in the community." With the closure of Paul Harding High School, many former Hawks have transferred to New Haven. Kitzmiller says Bulldog football games have been a welcoming experience for new students.

In the eight years Indiana's NewsCenter has held the tailgate parties, New Haven is one of the most exciting.
