FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) - The IPFW Mastondons have a tough task of moving on from guard Frank Gaines, now graduated and on a NBA Development League roster.

Head coach Tony Jasick enters season No. 3 expecting several players to make the next step to better the program.

Jasick says production must come from every position for the team to continue to be successful in 2013-14.

IPFW returns to the Hilliard Gates Sports Center after nine seasons at Memorial Coliseum. The Mastodons' move hopes to generate more on-campus fans interest while saving the university thousands of dollars per year, according to the IPFW athletic department.

The 'Dons open their season at 2 p.m. Saturday at Dayton. Their first home game is Monday versus Indiana-Kokomo.
