USF's Yoder, Trine's Puryear Named Conference Players Of The Week

UNDATED (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Saint Francis quarterback David Yoder and Trine kick returner-cornerback Myron Puryear were handed conference player of the week honors Monday.

Yoder was tabbed Midstates Football Association Mideast League Offensive Player of the Week after leading the Cougars in the second half to their come from behind win over Wisconsin-Stevens Point on Saturday.

Puryear is the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Special Teams Player of the Week for his 92 yard kickoff return touchdown that helped the Thunder top Manchester in their opener last Thursday night.
