FORT WAYNE (www.incnow.tv) - NAIA Division II seventh-ranked Saint Francis matched the school record for wins to start the season with a 78-67 win over Urbana Saturday afternoon.

The Lady Cougars improved to 11-0 with the win over the NCAA Division II member with balanced scoring against a taller challenger.

Kayla Drake led USF with 22 points. Skylarr Shurn had 18, Kalah Baer twelve off the bench, and Jenelle Wilson eleven.

The 11-0 start ties the 1999-00 USF women for the most wins to start a season.

USF will go for the record number of wins on Tuesday at Indiana Tech.

Urbana, coached by former Elmhurst standout athlete Maria Marchesano, got 31 points from former Carroll star Ciara Geiger, including a school record nine three pointers.
