Thomas Tabbed First Team Preseason All American By Sporting News

UNDATED (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Ohio State junior forward and former Bishop Luers star Deshaun Thomas has been named to the Sporting News preseason college basketball All-America first team, along with Indiana sophomore center Cody Zeller.

Thomas, the 2010 Indiana Mr. Basketball and three time Indiana's Newscenter Player of the Year, chose return for his junior season at Ohio State after averaging 16 points and five rebounds a game as a sophomore.

Thomas averaged over 19 points a game in the Buckeyes' five NCAA Tournament games last March
