Tech Baseballers Sweep, Softballers Get Swept

FORT WAYNE (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Indiana Tech swept a baseball doubleheader from Madonna Sunday, while the Lady Warrior softballers dropped a twin bill to Siena Heights.

The Warrior baseball team wrapped up its final homestand of the season with 8-2 and 9-2 victories over Madonna to take three out of four games from the Crusaders.

With the series win, Indiana Tech remains atop the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference standings at 33-17 overall and 18-6 in the conference. Madonna fell to 31-18 and 15-9 in the WHAC.

Siena Heights took 4-0 and 10-7 from Tech in softball at Memorial Park.
