NOTRE DAME, Ind. (21 Alive) - Jaylon Smith may only be a sophomore, but he looks to be the leader of the Notre Dame linebacker corps this fall.
Smith was the third leading tackler on the Irish in his breakout freshman season, a season that taught him what it takes to lead and perform at a high level.
And if that turns him into a team leader, the former Bishop Luers Mr. Football and 21 Alive Player of the Year is ready for it.
