Shurn Wins Crossroads League Player of Year

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) - The University of Saint Francis women's basketball team was rewarded handsomely for their perfect regular season Monday, taking home a host of honors.

Guard Skylarr Shurn won 2013-14 Crossroads League Conference Player of the Year.

Shurn, a senior from Kokomo, Ind., is averaging 20.1 points, 3.8 assists and 2.2 steals per game.

Additionally, Lady Cougars head coach Gary Andrews as named Crossroads League Co-Coach of the Year. Andrews, in his 13th season at USF, shares the award with Huntington University head coach Lori Culler.

Saint Francis is 30-0, and ranked No. 1 in NAIA. The Lady Foresters are 22-7, and ranked No. 20.
