WEST LAFAYETTE (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Purdue rebounded from the loss to Butler and pounded IPFW 81-56 Tuesday night.

Anthony Johnson and D.J. Byrd each had eleven points to lead the Boilermakers, who raced to a 27 point halftime lead and never looked back.

Joe Edwards came off the bench to lead IPFW with twelve points while Trey McCorkle added ten.

Dons' scoring leader Frank Gaines was held to nine points, less than half his average.
