DALLAS (www.incnow.tv) - Oklahoma State turned Purdue mistakes and turnovers into the games first 45 points and routed the Boilermakers 58-14 Tuesday in the Heart of Dallas Bowl.

With Purdue alums Drew Brees and Anthony Spencer on the sidelines watching, the Boilermakers failed to take advantage of opportunities as Oklahoma State led 28-0 at the half and then mae it 35 -0 when an O.J. Ross fumbles was returned for a touchdown early in the third quarter.

Purdue did get two touchdown passes from Robert Marve long after the issue was settled.

Interim coach Patrick Higgins, whose contract as part of departed coach Danny Hope's staff expires Friday, now turns the reins over to new head coach Darrell Hazell
