Purdue Gets First Big Ten Win

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- A.J. Hammons scored 18 points to lead the Purdue to a 70 - 64 win over Nebraska on Sunday. Ronnie Johnson added 14 points for the Boilermakers who improved to 11 - 5 and picked up their first win to the Big ten to go to 1 - 2 in the conference. Purdue made 24 of 52 shots, including 5 of 13 shots from behind the arc.

Terran Petteway had 19 points and nine rebounds, and Ray Gallegos, Deverell Biggs each scored 10 points to lead the Huskers who have lost five straight to fall to 8 - 8, 0 - 4 in the league.
