Notre Dame Wins Men's Soccer National Championship

CHESTER, Pa. (21 Alive) - Notre Dame won its first ever NCAA men's soccer national title with a 2-1 win over Maryland on Sunday in the championship match.

A first half score by Leon Brown tied the game late in the first half, and then a header in the second half by Andrew O'Malley provided the winning score.

In taking the College Cup, Notre Dame caps a 17-1-6 season.
