Notre Dame, Purdue Win Easily In NCAA Women's Tournament Openers

UNDATED (www.incnow.tv) - Notre Dame and Purdue glided to easy opening round wins Sunday in the NCAA Women's Tournament.

The Irish, top seeded in their regional, blasted Tennessee Martin 97-64, led by the 27 points of Jewell Lloyd and the 22 of Kayla McBride.

The Boilermakers, fourth seeded in their regional, got five three pointers and 21 points from Courtney Moses to pace their 77-43 pasting of Liberty, giving Purdue its 16th straight win in a NCAA tournament first round game
