RALEIGH, NORTH CAROLINA (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Raleigh Regional top seed Notre Dame had an unexpected walk through to the NCAA women's basketball Elite Eight Sunday with their 79-35 hammering of St. Bonaventure.

Natalie Novosel's 16 points led the Irish, who had the rare incidence of winning a Sweet 16 game by a bigger point margin than their opponent's final score.

Notre Dame plays Maryland Tuesday night for the regional title and a spot in the women's Final Four.
