UNDATED (21 Alive) - Indiana snapped a three game losing streak and remained bowl hopeful, while Purdue fell for the seventh straight outing on Saturday.
Cody Latimer hauled in three touchdown passes and Tevin Coleman tallied on two long runs to help Indiana past Illinois 52-35.
Latimer caught eleven passes for 189 yards while Coleman ran for 215 yards.
Indiana, whiich scored its highest number of point in a single game in twelve years, must win two of its last three games to gain bowl eligibility.
Purdue managed its first red zone touchdown since late September but still got bounced by Iowa 38-14, as the Hawkeyes reached bowl eligible status with their sixth straight win.
Jordan Canzeri ran for 165 yards and a touchdown to lead Iowa.
