IPFW Women Score Huge Win At Michigan State (VIDEO)

EAST LANSING, Mich. (21 Alive) - IPFW got it first ever women's basketball win over a Big Ten opponent when they defeated No. 21 Michigan State 81-76 Sunday night.

It was also the program’s first victory over a nationally ranked team since moving to Division I.

Amanda Hyde led IPFW, now 4-4, with 23 points and seven assists.

Rachel Mauk and Haley Seibert each went for 14 points, Ariana Simmons had twelve, and Mur Hagerman ten.

IPFW had previously been 0-17 versus Big Ten opponents in program history, including being 0-3 against the Spartans.

The Lady Dons next see action at Evansville on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m.
