IPFW Tips SDSU In 10, Gets Series Split

FORT WAYNE (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Carter DeBoe came up with a walk-off single to right field in the bottom of the tenth inning allowing IPFW to even their Summit League record at 2-2 with a 3-2 win over South Dakota State Sunday.

The series split moves the IPFW baseball overall record to 10-20.

DeBoe ended the day with a 2-for-5 performance from the plate, including the game-winning RBI. Shane Trevino and Kristian Gayday also picked up an RBI in the win. Trevino sparked the comeback with an RBI triple in the seventh inning. He would come around to score off the Gayday single that split back up the middle of the field.
